October - November(4 - 6 weeks)

Weekly Meeting

Weekly Meeting
Weekly training and accountability meetings

We encourage each team to meet once a week for 4-6 weeks in order to plan, train, and bring accountability to the entire process. This step is vital in preventing names from falling through the cracks. The VOP team is available for consultation and to work through any issues that arise from the Bible study efforts. Let’s get together and talk through what should be happening in preparation for the event.

November or December(optional)

Bridge Event (optional)

Bridge Event (optional)

In preparation for the January and March events, we are recommending you start with another bridge event to engage your community. The early fall is a good time for a bridge event in order to stir up Bible study interests. We encourage you to run Shadow Empire, A Pale Horse Rides, or The Appearing during this time. For those Discovery Centers that have partnered with the Community bundle, all the resources that you will need to run a bridge event are downloadable on the Discovery Center’s website.

Please note: If you are running Final Empire in January, we recommend Shadow Empire as a great prequel. You can learn more about Shadow Empire on Evangelism Marketing’s website.

Holiday Break

Holiday Break

Take a break. There will be plenty to do in 2020. It will be difficult to keep Bible studies going and compete with the holidays, so plan on picking back up at the beginning of January. During this time, plan on watching the training seminar entitled “Managing Interests Over the Holidays” that will be released in November in preparation for the break.

After you view this seminar, make sure to show your lay members, and also have them view the training program entitled “Follow-up to the Campaign” that will be released in December. Both training programs can be viewed on Discovery Center’s website.

Final Empire

Final Empire
Join Us in January

Final Empire will be a high-quality program your members will be proud of. It’s an epic four-part, direct-to-church event that uses a captivating documentary format for a distinct perspective on America in Bible prophecy. In Final Empire, we’ll be tracing the origins of America, charting some specific events that started over 3,000 years before the adoption of the U.S. Constitution. And we’ll look in the Bible to see specific warnings for this nation today.

For Discovery Centers that have partnered with the Community bundle, please visit www.discoverycenters.com to download all of the resources you will need to run this event. For those who do not have access to the Community bundle, you may consider adding this in order to have full access to all bridge events and other events and resources we will be adding. We encourage you to join the national event by signing up as a Final Empire host.

Transition Meeting

Transition Meeting

For those churches that will be conducting the series in a neutral hall, which is very much encouraged, you will need to plan a transition meeting from the hall to the church. At the Voice of Prophecy, we typically transition the night after closing night. So if the final night of the series in the neutral hall is Saturday night, then we will have one more meeting on Sunday night, but this meeting will be at the church.

Follow-up

Follow-up

Many decisions these days come after the meetings are over, during the post-work phase, so it is essential to plan for follow-up beginning the week the meetings are over. For follow-up ideas and resources, check out the Shop Talk follow-up training seminar that can be found in the Evangelism bundle on the Discovery Center’s website.

Shop Talk is part of Voice of Prophecy, which equips and empowers local churches to reach out to their communities.
